Welcome to Reliable Spine
At Reliable Spine, our goal is to offer the best patient-centred non-surgical spine care to our communities. We specialise in spine disc injuries (disc bulge, herniation, prolapse, protrusions), postural correction and scoliosis. Our treatment options include ultrasound-guided dry needling, gentle mobilisation using our Raphael 707 automatic drop function, functional and kinetic treatment with rehab using specialised instruments, dynamic 3-D spinal decompression, automatic axial traction, motorised flexion, and distraction including side bending, custom-made scoliosis braces (both soft and rigid) and specific exercises to scoliosis and postural correction. A good clinician will recommend the most appropriate treatment option(s) for each individual case and never simply try to fit every patient into the single treatment option they offer.
Start your journey to a healthier, reliable spine
At Reliable Spine, we specialise in non-surgical management of spine, posture correction and scoliosis. Our chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and have undertaken advanced training in spine disc injury management, postural correction, scoliosis management, scoliosis bracing and scoliosis exercise rehabilitation.
Let's highlight the compelling reasons why you should choose Reliable Spine for your care?
Reliability and Expertise
At Reliable Spine, our name says it all. We are your trusted spine care providers, registered by the General Chiropractic Council. Our recommendations and therapies are backed by the latest research evidence and have been successfully tested in patients just like you.
Long-Term Solutions
Unlike quick fixes, our approach focuses on long-term solutions. Research and nearly a decade of clinical experience has shown that a history of back pain increases the risk of recurrence. By tailoring our approach to lasting results, we prioritise your well-being beyond immediate relief.
Empowering Education
We believe in empowering our patients. Understanding your condition, its origins, and prevention strategies is crucial. Our team educates you on your specific problem, equipping you with lifestyle guidance, personalised exercises, and nutritional advice to enhance spine health and overall wellness.
Diverse Treatment Options
One size doesn't fit all. Our skilled clinicians assess each case individually and recommend the most appropriate treatment option(s). From specific exercises and ultrasound-guided dry needling to functional rehabilitation, 3-D spinal decompression, traction, and advanced postural correction using the specialised Raphael 707 device, we tailor our approach to your unique needs.
Spine disc bulge, prolapse, or herniation
Spine disc bulge, prolapse, or herniation, happens when the soft material inside your spinal discs pushes out. This can occur due to aging, injury and affects about 1% to 3% of people, mainly adults aged 30 to 50, with men being twice as likely to be affected as women. Most prolapses happen in the lower back. Treatments range from surgery to exercises, and a newer method, spinal decompression therapy (SDT), helps by relieving pressure on the discs. This study looked at how well combining SDT with exercises and other therapies works for people with chronic disc prolapse in the lower back.

He took me through a very detailed consultation, performed some tests and showed me my XRays. All these things combined helped me to understand why I was in pain as my body was compensating due to my posture, this has accumulated over time from my rugby injuries. After my first adjustment I could feel the relief already, I now see Dr Morris regularly so that I can perform at my best on the field and in the gym, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone, he taught me that chiropractic care is about wellness and total health, I am now no longer concerned about my posture long term as I have already seen great improvements physically and mentally. Thank you so much Dr Morris!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Blu Di2024-07-12DC Morris is a wonderful Chiropractor, with a dedication towards health and bettering people’s lives. He was very attentive and ensured he got the whole picture before starting my treatment. I felt confident and comfortable under his care; I always left feeling so much better than when I went in! He helped me combat my frequent migraines with his adjustments and I stopped having them altogether after consistently seeing him. I definitely recommend Morris to anyone who is looking for long term pain relief.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Linda Kahere2024-07-01Very professional and reliable indeed. I was struggling with my back for a long time due to a scoliosis (abnormal sideway curve) of my spine. Since I started at Reliable Spine, I have no pain at all. I started off with the pain treatment intensive stage, went on to do the advanced postural correction with a 3D decompression table. Now I am on the stabilisation stage with my SpineCor TechnoAssist Brace. For scoliosis and postural care in Scotland, I cannot recommend Reliable Spine enough.
